Most tech advice online comes in one of two flavors. There's the generic "top 10 gadgets" listicle that reads like an ad, and there's the spec-sheet dump that lists numbers without telling you which ones actually matter. We made ElectroSells for the people in the middle: buyers who just want to pick the right device without memorizing a glossary or overpaying for specs they'll never use.
How we think about it
The best purchase is the one that fits how you actually use a device, not the one with the biggest number on the box. More megapixels, more gigahertz, and higher wattage only help up to the point your workflow can use them. So when we recommend something, we tell you why, who it's for, and where a cheaper option would serve you just as well.
What we cover
Phones and tablets, laptops and desktops, headphones and speakers, TVs and monitors, smart-home devices, wearables, gaming gear, cameras, and the accessories that tie them together — chargers, power banks, cables, and storage. For each, we explain the specs that decide the experience, the compatibility gotchas, and the trade-offs the marketing skips. For anything involving mains wiring or electrical work, we'll tell you to follow the manufacturer's instructions and call a qualified electrician.
How we research
Every guide starts with a question, not a product. The facts come from manufacturer spec sheets, independent testing labs like RTINGS, and the standards bodies that define how this hardware works, including the FCC, the USB-IF, and the CPSC for safety and recalls. We link those sources in the articles so you can check our work. One thing to be clear about: this is information, not professional installation or electrical-safety advice. When in doubt, follow the manufacturer's guidance.
